Hi-Fin (Sail-Fin) Pl*co
Hey Guys
Got my first pl*co with my first O recently, and they are both still juveniles, the pl*co being around 2 inches at the mo.
My question is regarding feeding. The LFS gave me some bottom-feeder tablets. The are about 4mm in diameter and about 2-3mm thick. If left in the water for a while, they "expand" and become "cotton-like". (Do I remove them when this happens?)
My question is this: The pl*co LOVES them. So much so, that after having him for only 4 days, he knows, with every feeding he comes out in the open (hides otherwise) and wait for me to give him his tablet. He also doesnt mind my hand coming ery close to him to drop it in (I do that so that O doesnt grab the tablet). The pl*co will them immediately swim over it and devour most of it.
How often should I feed the tablets to him? One a day, every 2-3 days, weekly?
I found out what zucchini is today in SA we call them Baby-Marrows. I will get some of that 2day as well...
thx!
Danie.
