Re: Sexing L260
my untrained eye tells me you have 4 males, 2 females and 1 questionmark, which could go both ways.
but i'm usually far off when sexing Hypancistrus species, and L260 is definately not the most easiest species to sex from this genus!

Re: Sexing L260
so what exactly are you looking at to determine this? also if you are correct then that whole white belly thing is totally false.

Re: Sexing L260
Oh... sorry, I didn't see that you've been in that tread.
I think the image is good to compare with!
Perhaps the small one is a bit to young to determine the sex.
Regards
Cristoffer

Re: Sexing L260
My L260 all had white bellies but eventually they began spawning. Some developed belly patterns after 2+ years.
You really can not go by the belly patterns as sex indicators.
