I have some GNs that I hope will soon be housed in a 75g....but the tank is empty of substrate and decor.
I was just wondering if anyone would want to show pics and give recommendations on tank layout and decorations
that will allow some viewing of the fish?
I would like to attempt to make the tank look somewhat natural....not just a bunch of broken clay pots and such.
Where does one buy good quality natural looking caves/rocks/logs etc etc?
Right now I plan on a pool sand substrate...mainly cuz I already have it. Is that ok with GNs?
I have 5 GNs....dunno if they will get along but for now I would like to put all 5 in the same 75g.
If that doesnt work out I can put some in another 75. Theyre all in the 2.5 to 3" range
thx!

Re: GN aquascape
Haavard Stoere has some pictures of his aquascapes in the Tank-Talk section.
There has also been "river tank" posts in the same section.
Other than that, your imagination is the limit to what you can do. A simple but effective method would be to pile slate so that it forms caves - that also resembles their natural habitat fairly well.
