I hope I've posted this in the right section.
I've got a baby L201 and a baby L204 sharing a tank at the moment; 90l, sand/gravel/laterire mix substrate, live plants, two large pieces of bogwood, tank temp: 25*C, they are the only fish in this tank
Both Pl*cs seem to get on very well and often share the same piece of bogwood, it's just I've noticed at night Spot the L201 seems to be digging holes in the corners of the tank, the holes are quite large too. The sand and laterite outweigh the gravel in the substrate mix, so it is quite light so I'd hope no damage is being caused to him by doing this, thing is I just wondered why he's doing it
Though the pl*cs get on, I do make sure territories are clear with regard feeding and they are able to establish their own territories within the tank too. I refer to Spot as 'he' but I dont actually know the sexing of either fish

Re: L201 digging - I'm concerned
digging is natural behavior for most of the Loricariids
nothing to worry about!

You may want to try adding more of a rock cave/structure for the (L201) as it may have a preference for rock over wood to make it feel more secure.
