Re: I cant really tell
From just a quick look the adipose fin is taller,longer.... the coloration looks ocellifer
I can just barely tell but if you look at the mandibular barbels it probably has longer filaments as opposed to fairly short on katangae

Re: I cant really tell
Yes that is a multipunctatus and he has five friends to play with.I have to say that the Multipunctatus are in behaviour very cool, and they have lived also I have no success with Petricola. As for the chubby one he is really mild compared to the shouendenti who is just Pavaroti like he is just a glutton.Once I saw that Ocellifer it was ano turning point kind of thing,I just cant get enough of them, and I keep buying the lottery tickets so that I might have the tank I want, but I might need to buy an acerage!

Re: I cant really tell
I only have eupterus's so far. I have 5. Two big two medium one small.
I only have pics of them when they were wee. Under African Catfish thread Synodontis eupterus, I kno wnot too original. I need to take more but they are elusive.
Oh and I have 12 peppered cories.

rfb - if you're goingto have another go with petricola(lucipinnis perhaps?) start a new thread highlighting your problems so we can give you speciifc advice - i have never has any problems with lucipinnis (the so-called dwarf petricola) or petricola & i am not the greatest fishkeeper by a long way!
