The guy we bought it off had no idea and said it was a differently marked pictus for $30, over 12 cm long, so obviously he now calls our tank home.... thanks everybody for your help, worked for us. We got a $350 fish for $30 so how good is that.

Wow $350 seems really expensive - just glad i'm in the uk where things aren't too bad

(I do wish we got some of the selection i seem to see going to Japan though )

I have a similar one, I did not even pay $ 20 for (10 years back or so)

i payed 15 for mine, though it was in a tank of pictus cats, as it had come in with the pictus cats.
