C. agassizi, C. ambiacus or something else?

Post by C-Magnier »

Hi,

First, I wish you an happy new year :D
I thought first that it was C. agassizi. 6 fishes, about 5cm sl, sold as "leopard cory".
They are here since 3 weeks now, all is all right but some of them look "strange" for me. They have a "little long nose".

In your opinion?

Thanks!

Might it be C. Amandajanea?

The picture in the Cat-elog isn't convincing, but that from the link below looks a possibility (to my inexpert eye). Your fish has bigger spots though.

Going by the black coloration in the dorsal fin I would say C. agassizii.
