Indeed, same to all. Really looking forward to 2008. So, what did everyone get for Christmas (in a fishy related sense)?

I received
<img src="http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/4377/f ... rldth3.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"><br>
I have known Joe in the past and I just wanted his book for my collection, we met training in karate, totally separate from the fish world.

Also received a light fixture for a display tank with attached moon lights

Happy New Year everyone. I am still waiting for my belated "Loaches" book (available now from amazon or chapters in Canada, and presumably in most LFS stores), and I bought Freshwater Fishes of British Columbia. I also got permission to upgrade from my current 33 and 55 gal tanks to one 120 gal!!! It will be mostly for loaches, but some catfish (corys, plecos and otos, and possibly a smaller syno species if I can ever get my hands on one [and if there is still any room for them]) are either in my possession already or on the wish list!!

Apart from the non-fishy (but gloriously good fun) Guitar Hero III, I got a power monkey! It's all explained here (but basiclaly a solar powered and backup power unit for my camera, laptop, ipod etc):

and a great pair of wet shoes for walking in slippy river beds.
