Hybrid L333s ?

Post by plecoboy »

I would assume that crossing a goldline variant of L333 with the black and white variant of L333 would be a no-no. Agree?

Yes, if the black and white variant is L333 H. sp "Alenquer" because they are 2 different species.
No, sometimes the real L333 from Rio xingu change colour and become black and white.
You need to compare with this
that are sold as L333 H. sp "Alenquer".

Isn't the gold line just a color variant of the standard black and white? In which case, you are not talking about a hybrid. :?

I thought the goldline variant was discovered first, maybe I'm wrong. I am going to try to breed the goldline variant as that is just my preference. Thanx for the responses guys. :)

Mine look just like the pics under L333 in the catalog, but I can take some additional pics.
