tiger shovel nose and missing fins
Hi I would like to know if these fish can grow back fins that are missing. I just took one from my freind who had him/her with large africans so they went to work on it and I saved him from more punishment. The fin that is miising is located at the base of its tail it has no problems swimming but I feel bad that its gone. Thanks you for your time in advanced

Fins that have "constant" or "repetetive" damage may not grow back due to the scarring of the tissue. Since your original post wasn't clear on whether it was fresh or old damage, it would be prudent to be complete and say that "freshly damaged fins will grow back, but persistant damange can often cause permanent damage".
