Sex-ratio by fry.
Does anybody know the ratio of males and females in a fry group by Hypancistrus sp.? Does anyone keep them long enough to sex them?

Going by other Loricariidae, I'd say that you get 50/50 - but that's over more than instance of breeding - say you get 15 or so eggs in one batch, you'd not necessarily have 7M + 8F, you may find that you have 9M + 6F or the other way around - or even all males or all females. Just like if you toss a coin 15 times, you don't necessarily get 8 heads and 7 tails, you could (although it's pretty unlikely) get 15 tails or 15 heads.
