hello every one is their any one from new orleans if so how is the catfish and where are they bitting

Welcome to Planet Catfish, David.

I think there's a few people from Louisiana on this forum. Not sure how many of those actually fish for native north american catfish - most of us here are looking after specimens in aquariums rather than actively trying to catch them with hook and rod - although I know a few do both.

Generally I find cats biting everywhere I cast! The only thing more likely to hit it are rays ...
