tiger shovelnose...Salt?

I recently seen on another forum that tiger shovelnoses' are somewhat intolerant of salt. However I add salt each time I do a water change. Is this correct?

Clown loaches?

Just wondering ,does anyone recommend putting a small group of medium-large clown loaches with a small 4-6" tiger shovelnose. Currently I have 2 small royal clown knives and no problem. Let me know.

Juvenile tiger shovelnose

I had a large tiger shovelnose that was approx. 20" long and he was very active, but ...

Filter suggestions

Has anyone ever used the Rena Filstar cannister filters. I have been told by several people that work at large aquarium retailers like Big Al's that they are excellent filters comparable with eheim but cheaper. I am looking for a new filter for my 110 gallon and I would prefer a filter that is ...
