Re: WiFi Temp sensor for your fishtank

Actually you can monitor multiple tanks!
With one Knut it can monitor up to 8 external waterproof temp sensors at the same time. You would need one Knut, and then a 8 port sensor hub (a box with 8 connectors on it), and then the external temp sensors. And at the same time it would also keep track ...

Re: WiFi Temp sensor for your fishtank

Pretty sure it will have a standard 1 year warranty against defect.

Need to confirm. Writing up the whole instruction manual and warranty is something we are going to do with the kickstarter money.

Re: WiFi Temp sensor for your fishtank

I see your point. The probe is solid stainless steel with the temp sensor embedded inside. I think we were more thinking about the oil resistant and water proof housing on the cable not getting along with solvents.
I will look into a little and see what one of the engineers have to say about the ...

WiFi Temp sensor for your fishtank

Hi,
I helped develop a pretty cool product that I think the aquarium hobby might have a use for. Just looking to hear what you think of it and if you like, you're more than welcome to pre-buy these as part of the kickstarter.

It's a WiFi sensor hub that can remotely monitor the temperature of a ...

Re: Escape attempt

Actually, the co2 hasn't been running in a couple of weeks (regulator / solenoid problem) so I just shut it off until I have it figured out.

I think the big white cloud from the Equilibrium was the main culprit. Probably blocked the O2 for a little while until things settled.
But that's just my ...

Re: Escape attempt

I made a 150 gallon water change yesterday and a filter change the day before.
The air pump runs about 15 hours a day.

Re: Escape attempt

Something similar to that happens to me in my 36 gal. Every night around 11pm when the lights go off, I hear a scratching sound coming from the tank. It's the clown loaches sifting through the gravel looking for snails.

Re: Escape attempt

It happened shortly after I put in Equilibrium.

But that was a few days ago. And I do not see him to check on him.
but that's not unusual since I hadn't seen him for years and its a 300long gallon tank so there are plenty of places to hide..

Help with i.d.

Can anyone please help I.d. this guy.

I haven't put a pleco in the tank in years and all of a sudden saw this guy. No idea when I would have put him in there especially with the size. Has to be over a couple of year old and only 2"-2.5"..

Any ideas?
