Absolutely someone who already have this gorgeous catfish should buy this, alternative is a large zoo with an big south america tank over a couple of thousand litres minimum.

I heard of one swede in helsingborg who dropped 50 young and adult zeb´s in a 1400 litre tank and there are new babies all the time.

They are a lot looking like my first hypancistrus sp. L333 that i bought 4 years ago.
Some of the fry´s are very similar to my youngsters that i got from several spawnings.

I do envy you guys so much for having the chance to breed this beautyful catfish, i wish it happened here in my 720 litre tank

How big are the parents ?

I have had blue eyed pleco before in temperature up to 29 degrees celsius and i hope that it enjoyed the high temp because it didn´t show any signs of not doing so.
I would say 24-28 is totally alright for the fish.

I got a couple of those before summer here in sweden from a private importer and payed around 550 sv kr.
One of them was 19 cm !
Unfortunately he died this november he got some infection in the head that i was not ...

Maybe not the biggest but they are about 12-14 cm big.

As i´m writing now i heard of a group of 5 large L128´s that i hope i can get to sweden and then i am going to place them in a 540 litre tank of their own.
Lots of caves and mangrove roots and plenty of filtration.
They are 15-18 cm´s so they should be as big as my blue that died.

Thanx for all response but unfortunately so did my beautiful catfish pass on to the other side yesterday evening.

I have no idea what could have killed it so fast, maybe my try to ease it´s problems with discusmedicin killed it faster rather than helping it to get well.

Do you think i can use medication used for discusfish ?
I do have Huey Hung´s Bacteria Killer and Superkiller and also another brand of medicin called AquaCare´s Bacteria Treatment nr.1

Yesterday i saw something that i didn´t enjoy at all.
In one of my tanks one of my biggest L128 had somethingon his head, as i looked closer i saw this.
One of his eyes had almost popped out.

The tank he was in was a discus bb tank with a clay cave large enough for him to fit in.

I bought this as a L333 hyp.sp but im not so sure that it is.
What could it be otherwise ?
