His spines poked through 4 layers of 2mil poly bags

ID this Ictalurid Catfish Please

I bought this guy live at an Asian Supermarket. He's about a foot long and I think he's an Ictalurid. (roundish tail, little to no forking, and the barbel arrangement) He looks like a very yellow Ameiurus nebulosus. I'm not 100% sure. His chin barbels are black. Here's a closeup of his face: http ...

Sold as Pimelodus pictus, Looks Like Ictaluridae

Ok, I went to the little goldfish shack today and I saw this little guy. The shop's owner couldn't id him and assumed he was a pimelodus pictus, but would sell it to me for $5 if I wanted it. I bought him because I looked at the barbel arrangement and it seemed to say Ictaluridae to me. The ...

It's a native North American Catfish. I am not sure what it is exactly though although I am 90% sure that you have a bullhead in the genus Ameiurus. I am beginning to think it is a juvinile brown bullhead. Ameiurus nebulosus: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=52 Juvinile ...

Looks a P. pardalis, the common pleco. Some of the commons have redish fins or spots.

Need ID on this funny redfinned Pleco

I saw this little guy in a tank at the LFS containing P. pardalis and H. plecostomus but this guy caught my eye because his head shape was a little different and his fins had red/orange on them. Unfortunately, I can't get a good pic of him so these will have to do now until I acclimate and release ...

I don't think it's a punctatus. I can't get an exact count, but the picture of the punctatus seems to have more dorsal rays than the pics on this thread.

I picked up this cory at my LFS today in their "assorted cory" tank (they usually only get C. aeneus and brochis splendens for assorted) Well, I have no idea what it is so please ID it for me. http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/4851/dvc00377xf6.jpg http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/8562/dvc00378ud2 ...

If you look below the pictures, you will find all the relevant info about your catfish (max size: 20" SL, can be kept with anything it cannot swallow). Bullheads are kinda territorial, though and if you put it in too small a tank, it will most likely beat up tankmates. Your c*****d is in no mortal ...

it looks like a slime mold. Slime molds are not actual funguses but more of bacteria.

If I were you, I'd put in pimafix along with melafix to ensure that at least one works.

Hoplosternum Thorcata Breeding size?

What is the breeding size of hoplosternum thorcata and how long does it take for them to attain that size?

I have 1 male and 3 females (I think) and they are 1.5 inches each but none of them are sexually mature yet.

I agree. People should also send letters to petco.

Their signs claim that the giant gourami only gets 4 inches
