A member of my local aquarium club's forum posted this picture of a catfish he caught in Thailand. What is it?

Of course not!! I wouldn't eat him. (I can't say the same about the channel cats at the supermarket though)

His spines poked through 4 layers of 2mil poly bags

I bought this guy live at an Asian Supermarket.

He's about a foot long and I think he's an Ictalurid. (roundish tail, little to no forking, and the barbel arrangement)

He looks like a very yellow Ameiurus nebulosus. I'm not 100% sure. His chin barbels are black.

There are 4 microglandis species that I know of. I got one today that wasn't in the cat-e-log.

Theres only 2 in the cat-e-log, one being unidentified.

the spotted bullhead does not live in your state. I still say it's a brown bullhead

It's a native North American Catfish. I am not sure what it is exactly though although I am 90% sure that you have a bullhead in the genus Ameiurus. I am beginning to think it is a juvinile brown bullhead. Ameiurus nebulosus:

Looks a P. pardalis, the common pleco. Some of the commons have redish fins or spots.

I saw this little guy in a tank at the LFS containing P. pardalis and H. plecostomus but this guy caught my eye because his head shape was a little different and his fins had red/orange on them.

Unfortunately, I can't get a good pic of him so these will have to do now until I acclimate and release ...

I don't think it's a punctatus. I can't get an exact count, but the picture of the punctatus seems to have more dorsal rays than the pics on this thread.

I picked up this cory at my LFS today in their "assorted cory" tank (they usually only get C. aeneus and brochis splendens for assorted)

it looks like a slime mold. Slime molds are not actual funguses but more of bacteria.

If I were you, I'd put in pimafix along with melafix to ensure that at least one works.
