Got 2 of this type as a freebie (makes a change for me!!) were sold to the guy as c.punctatus . Typical for all types of corydoras that look similar to this to be labelled under the bracket of punctatus !!

Have had all these fish for quite a while and never really known exactly what they are, just educated guesses!! However, buying Ian's ID book from him has inspired to find out once and for all.

Aside from L007 L.galaxius, are there any other plecs which exhibit the elongated teeth or is it peculiar to this species?
Reason being, my missus' Galaxy Plec died after a battle with my red-tailed plec!! I would like to replace it but can find no L007 around me or on the net. She doesn't mind ...

Spotted this amongst a batch of melanistius. Is this a variant of c schwartzi or maybe a c. agassizii variant?

Got my big shipment of 2 brochis multiradiatus, 4 s. prionotus, 4 c. san juan (bilineatrus?), 8 c. pygmaeus, 3 tjuvenile sterbae and 1 c. melanotaenia from Trimar today!

I'm fairly sure that I have 2 females and one male, the bottom one is smaller and thinner than the other 2. It may be a younger one or a male. The larger ones are around 5cm from snout to caudal penduncle, so a bit of growing yet to do before they're breeding size!!
