Quick update to this....Jim (hankinswood) picked all the plecos and cories up this weekend
Thanks again for driving out here to pick them up, for me I was a little sad to let them go but happy to see them go to someone who will care for them and enjoy them as much as I have.
Thanks again Jim!

Catfish in need of good homes
Looking to find good homes for my catfish. I am in the military and I am do to move in a couple of months. I'll be moving cross-country so sadly I can not bring my fish. I am currently stationed in Eastern NC and would be willing to give my fish to someone who could offer them good homes. I cant ...

Re: Can I change substrate without moving fish?
To the original poster. If you do not want to buy another tank to hold your fish while changing the substrate, you can purchase a couple of large Rubbermaid containers from someplace like Walmart. You can usually pick up a large one capable of holding up to 50-60 gals for just a few dollars. They ...

Re: pl*cos and high temps?

I had an electric yellow cichlid that swam through my sump filter system, all the way down the drain tube and was resting on the drip plate in no more than a few millimeters of water. I went in to get the fish as I though it was dead but when I got a closer look I saw its gills moving. I quickly ...

Problems hatching eggs
The first time my albino cory's bred, I followed the instruction in the sticky and it didn't work out to well. After five days all the eggs looked like they have fungus growing on them. So this time when they laid eggs all over the glass I just left them where they were. Some of my fish have been ...

Unplanned Cory Spawning
Okay my first post here on these forums, I am a regular over at Plecofanatics. Today I woke up and went out to do errands early. When I came home I noticed that the darn light in the tank was not on (stupid timer, been meaning to get a new one). Well I turn it on and as I am walking away something ...
