My L200 is 5" now. The LFS deliberately import shark fin type L200 and I only pick one (we call high fin type in Hong Kong). But the growth rate is extremely low. Algae wafer is their favourite food.

it may also be caused by internal worm from the sign that white thing ejected from its anus. in this case, you may treat them by Octozin from Waterlife.

Today, I found there are baby C. Sterbai for sale. The shopkeeper said that they are from Asia with retail price for US$2-3. Do you know what are their difference from South America??

well, well. The price for plecos seems to vary over the world. A juvenile Zebra in Hong Kong only costs £60 somthing per pair... :roll:

To: gibbo, I've got ten of them in my tank. i find them quite active and like pellet food much. But, what are the parameters to let them lay eggs? :oops:

Hi, Caril. Your incident is actually common to plecos-lovers. But, i don't suggest u to turn the powerhead weaker 'cos most plecos do love strong water current. Instead, u may consider wrapping the inlet of the powerhead by sponge. :wink:
