Thanks, the peppermint bristle nose species that I have is smaller than others and the aquarium (they breed them) said that it would be ok in a 10 gallon...The reason I don't want cardinals or rummy-nose is because I have a school or cardinals at the moment and I used to have some rummy-nose so I ...

Would I be able to have:

1 PBN
3 otos-add 1 more
5 ember tetras-they only grow to 2cm
2 blue rams

Would this be too many fish?

Adding a group of corys would be fine, definitley not overstocking the tank, as most don't grow to more than 5cm. Any corys except maybe bronze and peppered would be ok, because they grow bigger than others.

Both the corys (Pandas and Schwartzis) are now swimming a lot more, including swimming up to the middle and up and down the sides of the tank, and looking for food. (I gave them a Sera tablet, and the gouramis helped them eat it. They still haven't swam to the surface but in the tank the Schwartzis ...

Help with new unexpected Corydoras Schwarzti!

I went 2 days ago (25/2/05) to by my 3 tiny 2cm Panda corys that I had reserved. (the tank was not ready for them) then I saw Schwartzi corys, and I fell in love with them. They were also on special and there was 5. So I decided to get 3 and they are now happy in my 126 litre (the pandas are in my ...

Restocking my 10 gallon!

I am thinking of restocking my 10 gallon tank when my fish die. (They are live bearers so they will not live very long.) I am thinking of:
2 bristle nose catfish (5cm)
6 black neons
1 Betta (Siamese fighting fish)
Will this be ok? I have an AquaClear 150 and an air pump running on it.

Thanks so much!

I read them both. I have 2 bristle nose at the moment so I know about them. Are the Peppermints the same care as them? the water is going to be Ph:6.4 and GH:6 KH:2-3 will this be ok for them? I am going to have tetras and I want the tank soft and acidic.
