Re: L114 biotope
Here is a picture of the tank i managed to make after all. It's a 300 ltrs tank supported by a EHEIM professionel 3e 700. It houses 3 L114, 30 cardinal tetra and 8 ottos. I managed to make vertical crevicies with the pieces of wood along with use of some caves, and cover the open spaces with anubias ...

L114 biotope
Hi all, I am setting up a bigger tank for my L114 group, and i ' like to find some infos and pics/videos from their biotope, Rio Demini especially. I 've made some search, but i didn't found something helpfull so far. They are described as black water fish, but i 've heard opinions that say that ...

Re: Using a human child medicine spoon to capture pleco fry
I don't intend to spam. Just want to add that i got a german ring about a month ago, and i'm really satisfied. I used it for sturisomatichthys and corys and it's much better than any other breeder (net or plastic) I've used. More efficient and easy to keep up.

Re: My spotted orange seam plecos: Hemiancistrus guahiborum (L106)
Hi Eric, I also had seen the change of colour you describe at my L106, a couple of years ago. If i can remember correct, it was after a change of tanks, so i gave him time to acclimatize. The colours came back to usual after a few days. I believe the fish of yours that got pale, are from ruinemans ...

Re: My spotted orange seam plecos: Hemiancistrus guahiborum (L106)
Helpfull topic Eric! I keep a male Hemiancistrus guahiborum for more than 6 years, and is kind of forggoten by me. I intend to pay more attention at this species and I' m planning to get a group of them. Are there any news from your tank? Any breeding attempts?

Different colouration in L114
Hey folks, I keep the last one and a half year a small group of three L114. Right now they are about 12-14 cm TL big and i believe i have two males and one female. The one i believe is female, seems that have changed its colour on the front part of its body and become yellowish. Does that means ...

Corydoras "San Juan"? ID help and breeding hopes
About three weeks ago, I bought the last three corydoras "san juan" the lfs had available. I saw that there was maybe a chance to get a breeding group, as I guessed there were 1f and 2m. The last few days the "female" seems to get plumper with a big round belly. Do you think i should expect eggs the ...

Re: Picked up some nice yellow corys. Maybe napoensis.
Nice fish Eric! I haven't met this kind of pattern with yellow tint again. Hope you get lucky with gender and achieve a nice breeding group. Last week i also bought a small group of elegans-type (maybe napoensis) who were sold as san juan cory. Mine have no yellow tint. Unfortunately there were only ...

Thanks Jobro.
Nice!
The current you get from this system, is enough for your purpose?
I haven't seen this type in action, and i don't know its capacity/flow rate.

Sturisoma panamense breeding
I' d like to share my first breeding attempt of sturisoma panamense which took place about three years ago. I bought the breeding group (1m-2f, about 5cm) as sturisoma panamense from the lfs so i kept this name. I have serious doubts about the given identity(....aureum propably), so if someone is in ...
