What a terrible weekend! My 6 inch L-25 and my 6 inch Brachyplatystoma Juruense jumped out of their 250 gallon tank. The water parameters all checked out fine and the other fish in the tank(3 4inch Peacock Bss) are showing no signs of stress and eating like pigs. Wo is me ...

What do you do?
When you win a fish via auction and two show up dead and the other two perish within two days? I feel bad slamming the guy on-line ... On the other hand I'm pissed that the guy doesn't call me back ... Any suggestions?

I have fuzzy growths on my driftwood !!! The only inhabitant of the 20 gallon long tank is an L 168, which seems unaffected. All the water parameters check out fine.

Sorubimichthys Planiceps
I just purchased a 2 inch juvenile. I was wondering if anyone can give me some additional information. I know they can grow up to 5 ft. Lucky for me I have a 300 gallon tank in the fish room. Thanks in advance.

With a Juvi L114 and an L204 beating the heck out of each other? Sunday night I found my L114 in a heap of shreaded fins and a bloodied belly ... The L204 had a slightly shreaded tail ... The fish are in a 30 gal long with tons of driftwood ... Temp 78 PH 6.8 Ammonia 0 ... The only other inhabitants ...

I have one in a 30 gallon with 5 Corydoras Concolor and a L204. The fish is quite a character. Hides out most of the day until I put in some blood worms. He will emerge from his lair within 5 seconds and swim as if possessed. Once he finds pile of worms he will swim in circles "vaccuuming" up food ...
