Blue is an A+ guy with A+ fish. I'm actually headed over to his place on Sunday to purchase a few things.

I know how it feels to have a bumblebee chow down on other tankmates. My 6 inch bumblebee ate my 8 inch L-14 !!! Oh well ... Wood cats are cool. Although I have a few and they're all but invisible. I would try a group of pictus cats myself.

I have an S. Decorus, S. Acanthomias, S. Angelicus and an S. Schoutedeni in a heavily planted 125 gallon tank with tons of driftwood ... All the fish are around 4 inches and have been living together for about a year. There is the occasional scuffle, but for the most part there has not been any ...

What a terrible weekend! My 6 inch L-25 and my 6 inch Brachyplatystoma Juruense jumped out of their 250 gallon tank. The water parameters all checked out fine and the other fish in the tank(3 4inch Peacock Bss) are showing no signs of stress and eating like pigs. Wo is me ...

Great topic !!! I got started at 4 ... Through my teen years my parents had a hard time with the 10 tanks in the bedroom ... I went through the same thing with my wife ... At first she couldn't understand why I had a garage full of Catfish ... Now she loves to take a few hours each day to enjoy the ...

Mats, I can see your point of view. This guy was definitely at fault. I ordered 4 fish and 3 showed up dead. Lucky for me the "prize" of the lot (an L-82) is doing fine ... I think for this once I'll let it slide.

Kev, I like idea number one ... You should never resort to violence. But, it certainly feels good when you do ... I decided to let things go. I'll just have to be a little more careful next time

When you win a fish via auction and two show up dead and the other two perish within two days? I feel bad slamming the guy on-line ... On the other hand I'm pissed that the guy doesn't call me back ... Any suggestions?

Definitely not algae ... I would guess fungus too. I just haven't seen anything like it before.

I have fuzzy growths on my driftwood !!! The only inhabitant of the 20 gallon long tank is an L 168, which seems unaffected. All the water parameters check out fine.

With a Juvi L114 and an L204 beating the heck out of each other? Sunday night I found my L114 in a heap of shreaded fins and a bloodied belly ... The L204 had a slightly shreaded tail ... The fish are in a 30 gal long with tons of driftwood ... Temp 78 PH 6.8 Ammonia 0 ... The only other inhabitants ...

I have one in a 30 gallon with 5 Corydoras Concolor and a L204. The fish is quite a character. Hides out most of the day until I put in some blood worms. He will emerge from his lair within 5 seconds and swim as if possessed. Once he finds pile of worms he will swim in circles "vaccuuming" up food ...

That would be one heck of a big tank ... Fortunately for them they all have comfortable homes of their own ...
