This is the best photos I could get of this guy...he is very active and loves his veggies but likes to move them into a position so that he has privacy munching on them...I know he is bristlenose as I can see some small bristles forming now...but what variety?

wow Eric you went to hell and back!! well i can say that my baby BN that is in with him right now i think eggs him on to eat...and surprisingly he is doing well considering his current tankmates...after his quarentine i put him and the BN in this tank to help with my algae after a filter failure, so ...

@bekateen - i looked them up and i think Chaetostoma Dupouii looks very close to him, Dorsale does to, but that one doesnt show the same markings on the tail as mine, but i am not familiar with how readily available each sub is, esp in the big box stores...he was the only one they had, so i could be ...

Yes seems no one near me knew anything about the filament barbs and for the moment they are juveniles...i have already thought about re-homing them as i can see they are very boisterous and "active" eaters...

the more I read on the paradise it doesnt seem like it would fit into my ideas for this ...
