ID Bristlenose
This is the best photos I could get of this guy...he is very active and loves his veggies but likes to move them into a position so that he has privacy munching on them...I know he is bristlenose as I can see some small bristles forming now...but what variety?
Has small white tips...but as he is growing they are disappearing
thanks

Re: ID Bristlenose
Pictures aren't the greatest for an ID but with that said, it looks like a to me. You might want to wait for others to chime in though and if you can get some better pictures (clearer with better lighting and preferably from a few different angles you have better luck getting a proper ID.
Hope this helps!

I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

Re: ID Bristlenose
Hi sapphire,
I agree with catfishchaos - (1) pictures really inadequate for definitive ID, but (2) there's nothing I see in the photo to suggest anything other than Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus.
Cheers, Eric
