Awesome sight! It's like we all dove in with you and saw it. Thank you so much. The catfish look to be all the same size. I wonder why they are together. Is it usual for them when young? Yearlings? I have two theories why would they congregate. One is spawning. However since it is close to winter ...

Wow, never seen a very small goonch. I have only seen juvenile goonch and adult goonch from River Monsters, other related show, and websites. They are adorable. If they are B. yarelli babies, I can't believe that a 6 feet long fish comes from something that small.

Right now, though my catfish is with an oscar and 4 silver dollars. I am planning to use my catfish for an aquaponic system.

Striped raphael catfish diet
May somebody give me ideas on what to feed striped raphael catfish? I am running out of ideas. I am either feeding it frozen bloodworms, sinking pellets, and sometimes small pieces of dead fishes and krill. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to feed live prey to my fishes by the way.

Just wondering, can Corydoras aeneus be with Platydoras armatulus or the former will be eaten by the latter?
