about 10inch long , i put gravel in it so its only half size
also i sell lots of the easter island orderments because catfish breed well in them , they are nice and dark and nit to big.

you could but you shouldnt have to do that, i use discus breeding cones they work well then you can put wood or rocks over or round them to hide them but you can still see the babies if you put the cone in the right place

great to hear that someone else has breed them, i had to rase the eggs myself from the 2nd lot as the male knocked the eggs out of the nest, was easy to hatch them in a fry tank , i just used an airstone .

my first catfis was a blue eye pleco. he was lovely.

that is an Ancistrus!! i dont no how a shop can do that sell a fish by another name, we get that here in nz as well, people come in and say they got something that was just a run of the mil fish.
i hope you didnt pay much for it?
