Silicone glue for wood?

Post by ikan »

I am trying to build a spawning cave for my ancistrus. I like to know if I can use silicone glue to stick wood together? I referring to the silicone glue that we use on our fish tank.
Thanks.

you could but you shouldnt have to do that, i use discus breeding cones they work well then you can put wood or rocks over or round them to hide them but you can still see the babies  if you put the cone in the right place

How big is the cone? The one that they sell here is quite big, not sure if my ancistrus will feel secure in a large cone. They seem to prefer dark places.
