Hi I'm wanting to buy any rare L numbers that are maximum 15cm in mature size. Preferably nice looking L numbers like zebra pleco etc.
Let me know what You've got. I'm in Melbourne. Will pick up anywhere around melb.

Re: Never Been Asked This Question
I reckon I'm getting ripped off here in Melbourne Aus. I have a 300 litre tank with external canister filer and lights and UV sterlizer and I'm paying $300 per quarter. $450 in winter.

Andrew

Re: Has anyone ever had Camallanus worms
New update I rang a vet and got a prescription for panacur (fenzbenidole). This means I won't have to go through the massive drama of water changes, removing carbon etc. Fenzbinidole can be soaked into their food and kills eggs and all. I even managed to get a specimen of the worm from the angel I ...

RIP pleco
I knocked him on the head. He was too far gone. Bit disappointing I paid $100.00 for him.

Re: Has anyone ever had Camallanus worms
Well, I waited 24 hrs with levasole at 2mg/L and then looked to see if any worms were still poking out of any fishes bums. The dwarf chiclids were all clear but one of the angels still had worms so I put him in a separate bucket and upped the dosage to 10mg/l. When I was vacuuming i found a few of ...

Re: I needs some help - I think my butterfly pleco is sick
I've been treating him for about 6 days now and He's only looking worse. I actually can't believe he's lasted this long. I've pretty much tried everything salt, antibiotics, pimafix, water changes etc. I think I will knock him on the head tomorrow if he's not looking better, it's just doing my head ...

Sounds pretty intensive! So it works well then. I've had it for about 3 hours now, apparently I'm supposed to see them crapping worms?

Has anyone ever had Camallanus worms
Hi, I've had something wrong with my fish for about a week now. They weren't eating very much and doing white clear poos. Earlier today I looked closely and noticed that a couple of my butterfly rams had little red worms sticking out their bums so I googled it and it appears they have Camallanus ...

Re: I needs some help - I think my butterfly pleco is sick
I've been treating for about 4 days now and I've noticed the pleco has done it's first poo which is brown in colour. He's still very bloated but seems a bit more alert. I've noticed that the other fish in the tank are doing white stingy poos so I will have to treat the whole tank with Meds. Not sure ...

Re: I needs some help - I think my butterfly pleco is sick
I've been treating him for about 2- 3 days now. I'm doing dunks in a bucket twice a day with Epsom salt and antibiotics as I don't have a separate tank for him. So far doesn't look any different. His stomach is very bloated and his scales are looking bad even coming off in areas. His eyes, while not ...

Re: I needs some help - I think my butterfly pleco is sick
Thanks Richard, I can't really isolate the fish as I have no where else to put it. I did a bit of research and it looks like it might have bloat and/or popeye which could be bacterial or due to bad water or maybe worms. I will start tomorrow doing water changes daily and dosing it in epsom salt ...

Re: I needs some help - I think my Butterfly plecos have egg
Thanks for replying Geoff, I tried taking a photo, but he's too far at the back to get any decent clarity. It's alive though it is looking a bit bloated and it's eyes are a bit googly (but I've seen them like this before). It is fanning it's front fins at about 1 beat per second and its dorsal fin ...

I needs some help - I think my butterfly pleco is sick
Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me, I'm new to this forum. I recently bought 2 mature butterfly plecos and they seemed to be happy in the tank. Now I've realized that one of the plecos hasn't moved from the rock he's been on for about 3 days. His fins are up and his stomach looks bloated and his ...
