Re: Caves
my first 75 gallon pleco tank had all the caves worked into the scape wich looked really amazing "at least to me". the problem came with time, like when fish actually started spawning, or the substrate slowly changed. Building my aquascape around my caves has proved to be more pain in but then the ...

Re: New tank setup with trickle filter and biological filter
I would go with a floating type plant such as water Hyacinth. Floating plants take co2 from atmosphere.Ive had hyacinths with roots as long as 12-18 inches, they duplicate quickly almost daily an they are not a fan of bright lighting

Re: Near Albino Cactus Pleco (L600)
It does say "near albino" and I think this is an awesome looking fish that anyone would be proud to show off at least I know I would. Will you be keeping this one or passing it on for another to enjoy. Iam just curious what percentage of fry get culled an what are the traits. Iam a bit of a nooby ...

I know the photo is not the best but is this a piebald, found this amongst juvi BN at LFS they had no idea what it was. Sold for $7.00 and can this be bred with a percentage of fry being piebald.
$/gallon
I have been patiently waiting for the dollar/gallon sale there was only four. Now its time to build there frames. They will be home for Contradens, L66, l260, Lower Xingu hypancistrus. I purchased these fish from FantasticFins. Thanks Chris.

Re: L129s including a color morph
That color morph favors hypan sp 1. I have had no luck when getting the correct species i ask for when ordering through lfs. i have also received debiliterra when my lfs argued about them being l204. I feel you did luck out though that is a beautiful specimen.
