I remember the photo very well. Looking forward to seeing everyone. We need to take a before and after photo lol, depending who many of us are in attendance. I am sad this is the last one. Jools, if you make PC shirts I will take an XXl.
Cheers,

New Trachycorystes trachycorystes
I just brought home a 5" Trachycorystes. Do you think it would be alright in a 30 gallon tank with some C. robustus for a few weeks. The robustus are huge I don't think they would be swallowed.

Brachyrhamdia meesi bad behavior
I have had eight Brachyrhamdia meesi in a 30 gallon quarantine tank for about a month. Last week I couldn't resist a group of giant Brochis multiradiatus. They have been in the same tank for a few days and the Brachyrhamdia have really done a job picking at the fins of the Brochis. I removed the ...

Re: what was the highlight of CatCon for you?
The first US convention had a Cory breeding forum and I believe the second had a pleco forum. They took place in the evening, very informal, beer and good information.

Re: Corydoras Adolfoi Setup
Dan,
I have bred most of my Corydoras in 10 gallon aquariums. That is a little less than 45ltrs. I have not found adolfoi to be difficult to spawn. Although they scatter their eggs about, many are laid at or near the water line.
Good luck

Dan,
I think it is perfect as is. You have nice cover for the adolfoi as well as an open area. They will be very happy in this set up.

Hi Matt,
I have 8 CW45 and 5 C91. I should be able to spare a male of each. I am sure we can work out a trade.

Re: Shipping small catfish
Regular fish bags are fine. You can bag the fish individually and they will be fine if shipped overnight in a styro. Breather bags are not good as the Synos can poke holes thought them with their spines.

Re: Centrodoras Brachiatus
The Centrodoras is a very easy fish to keep. I had one for a number of years. It could only be seen at night when the lights were off and that was not often. How large is the tank you are going to use to house this fish. You can see images of my fish in the Cat-eLog.

As I previously stated, the shape of the snout is a major difference between haraldschultzi and sterbai as well as the color pattern.

The fish are probably schwartzi. Haraldschultzi are much larger than sterbai and have a long snout.
