Re: breeding qeustion
I'm not sure about the striped ones. But I believe my spotted ones lay their eggs inside a hole in the driftwood. One of the parents will cover the entrance for what seems like a couple months not even coming out to feed. When it finally leaves the hole I will usually find a few new babies hiding in ...

There was some kind of temporary ban on some plecos earlier in the year. If I remember right it ended a couple months ago and L-134's L-14's etc are back on Brazillian exporter stock lists.

Re: Does anyone know if this is true?
It is a bizzare relationship for sure. The Corys poke around his gills and back mostly and the cuda stays perfectly still. I always keep one or two Cichlids in the tank for the cuda to eat and in almost 4 months now he has never eaten one of the Corys.

So you don't feed your fish NLS? Soybean meal was in every formula that I bothered looking up. As you have stated repeatedly I am real good at google. That is priceless!!
I just checked the ingredients on my buckets, it states soybean isolates not meal. Are they the same thing?
Hello,
The pleco in the pic was sold to me as L255, the spotted Medusa pleco. However after a quick photo comparison, i'm not even sure if it is in the Ancistrus genus!
Can anyone help me identify this fish?
Thank you very much!

I sorted those fish out. It was easy to pick out the 2 males, for the 4 females you wanted I went on stomach color and narrower head shape. Not an exact science but hopefully close.
