Ok, cheers guys, I think I'll just leave them to it. I may get a fishkeeping friend to come in and feed them their frozen food once, but from what I have heard it isn't overly important!
Cheers, Hippyguy

The tank is the usual set up, sand, gravel, lots of rocks, caves, bogwood etc...! The tankmates are 1 oto, plus lots of ...

Hey all, I set up the tank on sunday, but have made slight alterations. The box filter is the only filter in the tank so far, but I want to put a powerhead with a sponge on the bottom of it, in also. Does this sound Ok? So far in the tank there is one piece of bogwood, lots of small slate caves and ...

Great news, after years of want and waiting, I have finally tracked down some zebras! Unfortunately they aren't quite full grown, at 1" long  But, I am getting six so at least I will have a pair, and.........they are F1 from a breeder so I am not presuring wild stocks, which makes me feel alot ...

Hey David, I currently have 4 L066 in a 30" and I often see them out in the day, if I sit around and am still for a while! I have 5 adult Endler's livebearers in with them which act as dither fish and the babies are live food. (though I havn't yet noticed any babies missing :? ). How big is it? I ...

I have a 36" tank currently set up as a SA biotope. It has 3x 7cm bristlenoses, 9x dawn tetras, 5x cory aeneus, 1x male peppered cory, 1x unidentified tetra, 4x baby cory aeneus (2cm each), 2x pencilfish, and a khuli loach (not SA, I know). It is set up with bogwood, lots of plants, floating plants ...

Yep, definately a corydoras pygmaeus! They do best when kept in a small shoal, anything more than 5, otherwise they tend to be less active. Real characters, I have 11 at the moment! They eat flake, but love BBS and daphnia, (live or frozen). :D Males grow to 2cm, females get to 3cm. Hope this helps ...

OK, in the end I havn't bought the male! I may change my mind by the weekend though! The four fish I have are all eating fine and there are relatively few skirmishes between the 2 new females, though lots of fanning and shaking when they get near each other, I don't think they've sorted out whose ...

Larry, once the bigger male has established dominance, which I think it will, will there be any fighting between him and the other one? I want to get him and keep my other 4, but I think that if it turns out I have 3males there could be problems in my tank! Anyway, I'm going to pick up the new male ...

One of the females is in near pristine condition, but the other is a bit scraggy. She has a bit of fin rot and a small wound in her side, about an inch up from the base of her tail, but I've just fed her and she's eating fine. :D I've decided to get the other male but am a little worried about ...

Cheers Larry, My tank is only 18gal's so I am assuming both pairs are unlikely to breed at the same time. The male which I currently have is not mature, so the one I am planning on getting is likely to be 'boss' :!: If necessary, I can set up the 48" tank for one pair and leave the other pair in the ...

The cave is primarily for my King Tiger's which grow a little larger than queen arabesque I have been told. The inside cave dimensions at the front are 3.5" wide by 2" high. The cave tapers towards the back, inside it's 9" long almost 4" wide and 3" high. I have built the roof in two sections, one ...
