Formalin

I know that when using Quick Cure you should do just a 1/2 dose if you have plecos in the tank.

I am wondering if an adult pair of BN could handle a full dose of just Formalin or if you would still need to do a 1/2 dose?
How well do plecos tolerate Jungle Parasite Clear?

Salt Question

Hello All,

Just a general question. I have heard both sides and just wanted to get some feedback from you all.

Can plecos (bristlenose mainly) tolerate salt? Say, around 0.1%? Any higher?

Thanks for any input. :)

Re: BN Fry

Okay...I just saw the other thread about BN fry size....
So about 1.5 inches would be good?

I will be driving them about an hour to their new home....at this small would they be able to handle the drive?

BN Fry

I currently have about 60+ albino BN fry. Tomorrow they'll be a month old and are currently about 1 inch long. How big do they need to be before I can sell them? I have several people that are really anxious to get some, but I don't want to rush it and sell them too soon. Also, they are currently in ...

Re: BN plecos and medications

Thanks guys for the relpies. I actually came across a good deal on a 30 gallon tank. I have been looking for another tank anyways, so I think I'll put the BN in there while I QC the goldfish in the 75 gallon. Once I'm done with the QC treatment I'll move the BN back.

So for right now I won't treat ...
