You seem to have some interesting fish to start out with as well. I've never even heard of a mosquito fish.

Yeah XXXX is awful, its what my friends (young and very lacking in money) drink.

Though I can think of something worse- superstrength! Poisonous stuff!

Everything is different now that I have discovered the vast amount of information there is to know about fish in general and the different fishie species. Before I bought my last addition to my tank I did research, which is fun so wouldnt have avoided it if I had thought about doing it. Instead I ...

I agree, there does seem to be some kind of 'extra ingredient' in stella to make it, er, special.

Its a favourite, anyway.

Sorry if I offended anyone. Yep very much so. Me. Think! Think for a small millisecond of what it is like to be a complete novice with fish. I have no problem doing research, I very much enjoy it and would always do it if I was aware of any needing to be done. I had no idea, as many many beginners ...

I'm awfully sorry fatcat for making you afraid to post your musical tastes, I really won't insult them. If you look back you will notice I only started getting protective after my favourite type of music was insulted. I'm actually very open-minded to different types of music, its just that I've done ...

My lfs gave me one as my first fish and said he was suitable for my 6.6gallon tank! I don't know if they realise the consequences of them not bothering to learn stuff about the animals they're meant to be looking after, if they do know that they're wrong they're horrible people. I can't believe them ...

The only reason I added the dirty was having been called a dirty metaller so many times myself it seemed to naturally fit into the insult. I am sure you are a very clean person. I honestly have never heard of Morrisey or Smiths which is obviously why it didn't have the light-hearted effect. Where ...

Tragic view!

You want to make music and call yourself musician? start practicing! music made by computers is like buying fish at wallmart every nontalented twirp rips off samples from someone else's hard work or even worse, doesn't even use a PC but imagines himself an 'artist' by playing someone else's records ...

Thats good to know - thanks. I was hoping that fact wasn't that true because 1) I got quite a lot of information and it only said that on one source that they eat little fish and 2) My Cardinal Tetra don't bother to move out of the way of Skabba and he/she doesn't touch them even though they could ...

Hi, just an introduction

Hello, just introducing myself. I'm Christina, 18 and doing a gap year where I'm supposed to be getting a job but not doing much about it! I have been keeping fish for not even a year yet, so am a beginner. I was advised by my lfs that the catfish they sold me was suitable for my 30 litre and a ...

I like clubbing (if its decent music like drum and bass, and I could probably get into a night of techno, but not out of choice!) but sorry, don't live in the Midlands.
Perhaps clubbing and fish dont go together because people who like clubbing like loud music, which fish don't like the vibrations to.
