Why are they called mosquito fish?

You seem to have some interesting fish to start out with as well. I've never even heard of a mosquito fish.

I like clubbing (if its decent music like drum and bass, and I could probably get into a night of techno, but not out of choice!) but sorry, don't live in the Midlands.
Perhaps clubbing and fish dont go together because people who like clubbing like loud music, which fish don't like the vibrations to.
