thank you for the suggestion, I'm going to try to find it with decent shipping, and give it a try. I really would love to see him with a happy, full belly.

Re: L75 Still won't gain weight
I did the multi-doses of prazi, not just one. My apologies for not specifying that. the instructions on the bottle say to do it multiple times. Should I redose the whole tank? Or just try the different feed?

Re: L75 Still won't gain weight
nitrite is 0, i'm sorry if i miss typed above? NitrAtes are 20 max. The cycle is established and the tank looks good, other than the algae cloud that i'm slowly removing. I see him foraging a lot. He has a favorite spot to sit, and sometimes he disappears behind the caves, and often times he comes ...

L75 Still won't gain weight
I have had my L75 for almost 2 years now, and he still refuses to get a nice plump belly. I quarantined him last year and used prazipro, I fed more frozen foods, and I know he scavenges a lot, but his belly is still concave. Should I be worried? Is there anything else I can try for him? 1. Water ...

Re: Fatten up my L75
Andy, wow, i never thought of that. Would he really have worms and NOT give them to the sultan plec though? They live together, and often share a cave... If he doesn't have worms, will the meds harm him (or the others in the tank, since he lives with the other plec and the loaches)? If the blood ...

Fatten up my L75
Hello, Well i've done my homework, but i am at a loss over my L075. He (i believe "he") has been with me since november, and has grown a TON, but his little belly is STILL convex. All my water parameters are pristine, and he has plenty of caves and a nice sand substrate. His tankmates are: a L264 ...

Re: Mixed School/Cory compatibility?
I'll try to get the same kind, but the LFS sells out of everything VERY fast, and you never know when they'll get it in again (except for the standard stuff like danios and neon tetras...) I really appreciate the responses, as i was worried my poor cories would be permanently lonely if i couldnt ...

Mixed School/Cory compatibility?
So, i bought 3 arched cories (c20) for my 10 gall, but had to move them to a 55. One died, so now i only have two. And I feel bad for them, as I know they don't have nearly enough friends. My question is, are there any other species of cory I could get that will school with them, if I can't find ...

Hehe. It is very cool. I see now why so many people talk about red lights and what not for night time viewing...

OMG! He's hyper active!
I had to quarantine my danios on monday ( :( ) But I have discovered an unexpected upside to this. All that is left in my 55 is the L75, the L264 3 queen loaches and 2 cory cats. All day i watched the cories and loaches play- which was great. But right now, I have tank lights out, and the ceiling ...

Re: "taming" pl*co?
Thanks all, i kinda half figured that's the answer.
Don't really mind that he's not 'tame,' I just felt bad after I had to chase him forEVER the other day to catch him. Poor guy was terrified.

Anyways, Bibi has been in the tank since... november? Was absolutely TINY when I got him, 1.5" tops. Bibi is more than ...

Help! Upside-down Sultan Plec? Bloated?!?!
Hello. I have a 55 gallon that has been set up since the end of september. Sand substrate, lightly planted. 9 danios, 9 tetras, 2 skunk corys, 3 queen loaches, L75 and L264 pleco. Ammonia and nitrite 0, nitrate <20 at all times, ph 7.6, 50% water changes once a week. I have been having troubles with ...
