I have 1" F1 Synodontis polli for sale at $15 each or 5 for $65. Buyer pays shipping.
These are the only fry in existence. I lost the parents that are in the second video last week.

Re: Synodontis polli
That may be Richard but I've kept this pair in with spawning Tropheus and they showed no signs of even wanting to spawn. They began spawning once I gave them their own tank. You can even see the female nice and plump in the above video.

All I can say is that mine spawn over a bed of marbles inside a cave. Here is a better video of the pair with a few fry in their tank.Richard B wrote:There is still a video on youtube.....(which i can't find now - poste before on PC forums by Worton).....where polli spawns cuckoo fashion

Re: Synodontis polli
I've seen them advertised for sale for time to time (in the UK) but I don't know if those offered for sale had an firm ID or not. There has been a lot of clarification of this group of fishes over the years / same timeframe. I do know the Synodontis sp`polli_white` has been bred. Your fish look ...

Re: Synodontis polli
How did you go about breeding these? Was it the lucipinnis cave & bowl of marbles? Or did they cuckoo spawn? They look nice & healthy, thanks for sharing. I have read a couple articles on the internet where the authors say that polli are cuckoo spawners. These are not cuckoo spawners at all. Mine ...

Re: Synodontis polli
Hi, I would be interested in some also. I have one S polli but would like a few more but I'm guessing it might be better to wait until warmer weather unless you know how to pack and ship fish. I wish you lived closer, it would make a great road trip (not from Boston Ma. however) If you do know how ...

Re: Synodontis polli
These are not the white polli. Its hard for me to get a picture of the adult pair in the tank because they are very shy. Here is a link to a video of a spawn and the adult pair in their tank but the video isn't that great. http://s1197.photobucket.com/user/hawkeye4532/media/VIDEO0005_zpsb7d25fd9.mp4 ...

Re: Synodontis polli
I don't recall ever seeing F1 polli fry for sale. I would imagine they would be in the 10-15$ apiece range at 1/2 inch. I would be interested in buying some eventually. I'm in the process of moving house right now so have put a hold on any fish purchases. I have never seen or heard of any f1 polli ...

Synodontis polli
Hi, I have a spawn from a wild pair of Synodontis polli. The pair is 3 years old and must have spawned when they were kept with my Tropheus because after cleaning the tank, I have discovered 2 fry. I have since set them up in a spawning tank and they finally spawned for me. I was wondering what the ...

Re: New tank build pic's, 90"x48"x36"high
Kev, I noticed that the front, back and side glass all rest on the bottom glass. I always thought that the bottom glass must sit a 1/4" off the bottom so the weight of the tank would be supported on the vertical glass and not the bottom glass which could crack.

I just received my Ancistrus sp. "Snowflake" from Jackster and they are awesome but you can't expect anything less than that. I have bought fish from Jackster over the past few years and all were gorgeous. They were fat and healthy. Jackster's a great source for rare and hard to find fish. Miro

I knew you'd turn up eventually Larry Vires aka "Thief". Jackster has it right and you don't but you're used to lying. I had several discussions with you via email and over the phone. You appeared to be a nice knowledgeable guy but that was just your plan, to find some sucker that doesn't know you ...

Hi Mjlfish, I had a few cups of coffee and feel better. I had to answer a few questions for the BBB (https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/complaintlink.aspx)and the FTC (https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup)today so they are working on Larry Vires. They both wanted to know if I want to cancel the ...

Problems with Larry Vires
Hi Jools and Barbie, since you wanted to hear the story firsthand, here it goes but I first wanted to say thanks to mjlfish and Jackster for being my voice and helping me out. I came in contact with Larry Vires through his Plecobreeder.com site where he advertized L236 for sale. Larry replied to my ...
