Hi
I caught two of my L134's behaving aggressively to each other,in fact one had the other in a pin-fall :? (see pic). This behaviour went on for 5 mins or so and had me a little worried.I've never seen pleco's doing this and was wondering if it is just a sign of dominance or something else. Also is this behaviour common between both sexes or just males/females.

If they keep on doing it should i remove one or just keep a close eye on them to make sure one or the other isn't becoming too stressed.

In order to determine which one will get to spawn first, they have to establish a dominance hierarchy. It's normal, but you might keep an eye on them. They can do more damage to each other than you'd expect!

I will definately be keeping an eye on them.
I didn't realise they were so nasty toward each other, i've never seen my nuggets or arabesques behave so aggressively so was a little surprised to see it occuring. It was quite amusing to watch though :)

Thanks
