Why does my green pleco L128 eat?

Post by aquaria_rn1 »

Hello Fellow catfishe owners, I'm new on this site and I would like to ask a question in reference to my new pleco.
I purchased it a week ago and he has yet to eat. I place some succine (Not sure on the spelling of this veggie). However, he has not touched it. He presently is in Quarrentine with 3 dicus. First week is up and I yet to see him eat. Is there any other type of food that he may accept more easily. I don't want him to starve. Any suggestion / advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Firstly, plecos eat because they feel hungry..

:P i hope you arent carried away by that joke...

Deep some cucumber/zuchinni in garlic extract and it would lure your plecs out after they have settle down for a few days.

HI!

TRy to feed him Artemia, bloodworms, spirulina tablets, basically if your fish doesn't touch the food, try something else to see if it works better

Cheers
