Just got one of these from fishcollectors.com
Anyone have any firsthand experience with these? Mine's a 3" specimen that I'm keeping in a rapids tank with my L128. Feeding him frozen krill and Hikari's carnivore pellets.

I have 4 of them and I had to seperate the males. They were all together in a 55 gallon and the 2 big males would always fight. Now I have a 2 pairs in 2 separate tanks. I mainly feed them wafers.

Don't under estimate his adult size, I have seen an around 25cm or over specimen not too long ago...
once again, more beautiful when young...
Cheers

Really? They lose color as they get older? Or spots?

Hi!
The "orange" coloration in the fins sort of fade away becoming more " brown" but still it makes a ncie fish...
Cheers
