I have these 2 plecos... L007 - Lepricanthacus galaxias... Vampire plecos, whatever you want to call them... Anyways. I can see distinct differences in the two fish, however am not too good at sexing them. I believe (or would like to anyway) that they might be a pair, and they are about 6" so getting close to spawning size... Tell me what you think.
THanks!
I believe the above to be the male.
and this one the female...
the male again... he's stressed from being in the styro, so hes a bit green.......
the female again.
Male...
I think the male again?
I dont know which one
FEmale maybe??
ANyways, thanks for looking, hopefully I got a pair... hopefully you can give me advice. I dont have a good enough camera to zoom in on the heads or pectoral fins, but the one I think is a male has very very tiny odontodes (or whatevers) on his pectoral fins, and the one I think is a female is nice and smooth...
THANKS!
