Room Enough for 2?

Post by silvernes »

Apparently I have no skill whatso ever at sexing plecos, so I've now decided I probably have 2 pleco males (whereas I used to hope I had a pair :?)

They are both commons & recently noticed they wree chasing each other a bit (the older & smaller on going after the younger :)). Now they are still both relatively small (older was was adopted) at about 7" a peice & they may just be cranky because my oscars (which they are housed with) are courting & have knocked down all the pleco's caves (I'm working on making some indesctrucatble ones :D).

Will a 120 gallon be enough territorial space for 2 adult common plecos?

So either this is really dumb question - or no one knows :D

The good thing is the guys have started moving into the pipe after I moved it closer to the bubble-wall :) Tempers are Tampered & Charlie and Henery are getting along again.
