Is this catfish Megalechis personata or M. thoracata?

You'll know the instant you breed them.
I actually would have said M. thoracata due to the small size of the spots, the squared-off caudal fin and (although quite light in the photos) black-bar of color at the base of the caudal fin.

As adults they can be difficult to distinguish, as juveniles they are as different as night and day.
