im thinking about getting a 2 gallon tank with two panda corys, the tank has almost everything my other tank has except for a heater. The tempeture of the room i want to put it in is 65-70 degrees but sometimes it gets a little cold. So would Panda corys still be happy in a tank with no heater.
Thanks in advance.

If your room is 65-70 degrees the water temperature will be a little warmer. I think the C. panda should be fine. Another Cory which is usually available and would be very comfortable in the mid 60's is C. paleatus. However, the 2 gallon tank is little small.

If 2 gallon is the max size you can have then I would consider some of the dwarf species C. pygmaeus, they only reach 32 mm sl females, 25 mm sl males and they are happy in cooler water.

I would say go with pygmy corys, I have 4 in a 3G tank with a betta and they are very active and happy without a heater.
