need a busht nose id please
my friend picked these up off of a fish list a few months back. any idea's on which species. i believe the list originated from peru. they where labeled red marble ancistrus. thanks in advance.

It is one of these human made species...
They are rather orange when young and they gently put more browns on...

I'm a newbie to this forum and haven't even introduced myself yet.

I've never had much luck with this variety myself, some of the specialist shops occasionally stock it (very small youngsters) and they charge a hefty premium for it.

Yann didn't put the link in correctly. It was previously in at Ancistrus sp.(2) rather than - note the extra dot. I've fixed the link above. However it's all a bit academic as I think the species was moved to !
