Blue-spot Plec

Sold as a "Blue-spot plec". Browsing the Cat-eLog I thought L128 perhaps?

Hi,
I also recently bought a "blue Spotted Plec" from my local shop.
it looks just like yours
I though maybe it was a young L128, but on studing it and asking other people in Plecofanantics.com (where you will find some pics of mine in the Miscellaneous gallery )-
I think it might be an L254.
mine is still very shy and seems to like eating prawns.

Yep, L254 would also be my guess! In my opinion it belongs to the genus Oligancistrus, I don't know and can't find reasons, why it should be a Spectracanthicus as it was lately placed in the DATZ-special L-numbers?
