Corydoras sp.

Post by Algaedarling »

Hello!
I just got a Corydoras that I am having a hard time identifying. I have narrowed it down to Corydoras geryi or Corydoras sodalis. However, the pictures in the Cat-eLog were confusing and there wasn't any identifying or type locality information on either species. The Corydoras in question matched some of the pictures for Corydoras geryi AND some of the pictures for Corydoras sodalis. It came in as a contaminate in a shipment of Corydoras blochi, if that is of any help.
Thank you!

Post a picture, and we should be able to tell you almost immediately which one it is.
FWIW, C. geryi has a bolder reticulate pattern (the "holes" in the "net" are larger) than C. sodalis.
