how much/often should i be feeding my tiger shovelnose?
i am told that adults are fed large meals weekly or when the meal been digested and the fish starts hunting for food again... right?
mine is only 8" at the moment and seems to have nothing on his mind other than eating! he's eating 2-4 3" long whitebait twice daily and steals the occasional lobworm from my ray.
i've not kept any of the large predatory cats before and compared to anything else i've kept the amount of food he gets down him seems rather a lot!
so am i overfeeding or should i just feed him whatever he wants, assuming he's small and needs to get big?
how much/often should i feed my tsn?

hi pc
you will be surprised at the amount you tsn will be able to eat.. your small one is able to cope with bigger size foods than you are presently feeding. remember that in the wild these are opertunistic predators and never pass up the chance to eat, but. saying that they dont suffer from a few days of non feeding. also keep a tab on your water perameters. they like all big fish foul the water quickly.
