Dorsal fin on common bristlenose!

Do all common male Bristlenoses have a dorsal fin like my bristlenose? Or are these serrations unusual? I hope the photos load. The second image is one of my others that I just put on for people to look at.

I presume you are referring to the length of the fin rays? These are consistent with the long-finned variety (which is what you have).
