This is my new baby N.A. catfish (bullnose) My only question is - WHAT DO I DO WITH HIM???
He's in a 120 with my 2 oscars & 1 common pleco right now, but if he's going to be up to 2 feet long - what can I house him in?
Maybe a year or two I'd like to have another n.a. fish tank w sunfish & such, he'd probably do better in there then with the oscars, but how big will it have to be to accomidate his adult size??

A 200 gal, or a Pond would do.

What only 200?
I better start saving up
WHat should I be feeding him?
He's taken bloodworms, shrimp pellets & my oscar's chichlid staple pellets. Other then feeders what does he eat in the wild?

These guys have been known to eat crayfish. They also eat other fish and aquatic bugs. Also try shrimp pellets and some feeder goldfish. Maybe Tubifex worms would work.

The good news is that bullheads are not fussy eaters. Keep feeding him what you're already giving and it should be fine.

Ghost shrimp might be a good idea, I was already going to get some for my Os.
I tried the feeders, but the 14 I put in there all dissapeared over night... & I havn't figured out where they are hiding yet
Thanks for the reassurance on the feed though, I'm not sure how many shrimp pellets he takes at once - all that he can get
He spends alot of time in the flower pots, I've been trying to think up so more caves for him - but what should I be providing in the way of hiding spots?
Any idea how long it will take him to get to his adult size (I'm hoping for like 10 years here

I think he's already a couple years old - at least?

They mature in their second or third year and reach adult size at around the fourth.
