Do you keep L273s? Titanicus pleco.
I'm starting a collection. The tail of an L273 can be splendidly long! And not to mention the body colours, spots. Wow, what a fish!

When do the L204 get their long tails? I have some that are about 3.0-3.5" that dont have the long fin extensions yet... Is that also when they mature? They are getting their own tank soon for a small project...

They get there lyra tail very soon, i've got one who is about 5cm and already got the long end tail the problem is that outher fishes tend to see it as a worm and bitte it.
the one with the biggest fin, there size are bigger then my smallest L204

Don't worry for the tail.It will grow back in no time.I have 2 LDA32 (Panaque Albomaculatus) and the tail fin was bitten for the same reason but within a month was perfect again!!!
